About the Role
Jite Projekts Limited, a leading name in piling and civil engineering services, is currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Engineer specializing in Earthworks and Civil Infrastructure. In this vital role, you will take overall responsibility for planning, coordinating, supervising, and successfully delivering large-scale earthworks and civil infrastructure projects from mobilisation through to final close-out, ensuring all deliverables align with stringent quality, safety, budget, and programme requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Manage bulk earthworks, site grading, excavation, filling, compaction, drainage, and related civil infrastructure works.
- Coordinate end-to-end project planning, site mobilisation, daily execution, and project close-out activities.
- Lead and mentor site engineers, surveyors, QAQC personnel, HSE officers, foremen, and heavy equipment operators.
- Monitor project progress closely against approved schedules, productivity targets, and budgetary constraints.
- Ensure rigorous quality control, compliance with engineering specifications, and proper review of technical drawings, RFIs, and as-built records.
- Facilitate seamless communication and coordination between clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Optimize the utilization and maintenance of heavy machinery and allocate site resources efficiently.
- Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly project reports while managing site costs and adhering to HSE company procedures.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven hands-on experience managing large-scale earthworks, site grading, and civil infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated technical competencies in earthworks quantity calculations, level control, project scheduling, and QA/QC management.
- Proficiency in engineering software including AutoCAD, MS Project, and/or Primavera P6.
- Strong analytical, report-writing, cost-control, and interpersonal communication skills.
