About the Role

TECO Limited, a premier provider of comprehensive engineering solutions across Nigeria, is looking for a talented and driven Project Engineer to join our expanding team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality engineering projects by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, maintaining strict safety standards, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to oversee the complete project lifecycle from design, planning, and execution to final handover.
  • Ensure adherence to strict technical specifications, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Supervise daily project activities, allocate resources efficiently, assign tasks, and monitor schedule progress.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and contractors to ensure seamless communication and stakeholder alignment.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess progress, resolve technical challenges, and enforce safety protocols.
  • Assist in material and equipment procurement, including soliciting bids, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relations.
  • Prepare comprehensive project documentation including reports, scopes of work, method statements, work breakdown schedules, and budget plans.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Engineering Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • 3 to 6 years of proven experience in engineering project management or project coordination.
  • Demonstrated background in mechanical engineering, construction, manufacturing, or technical services environments.
  • Strong proficiency in technical problem-solving, stakeholder communication, and resource allocation.
  • In-depth understanding of project safety, environmental regulations, and compliance standards in Nigeria.
