About the Role
Myrtle Management Consultants is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Coordinator to support our Project Management team in operationalizing the federal 'Decade of Gas' initiative. This strategic program aims to accelerate Nigeria's transition from traditional, polluting fuels to clean Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), enhancing national energy security and public health. You will spearhead the nationwide refilling and distribution of 3,000 units of 3kg LPG cylinders across all 36 states and the FCT, managing complex logistics, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder relations.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate with key supply partners to finalize bulk LPG acquisition and operational readiness.
- Acquire and verify necessary NMDPRA secondary operational permits for safe storage, transport, and handling.
- Oversee the procurement and stringent technical vetting of 3,000 units of 3kg cylinders.
- Develop and implement robust Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for refilling, quality control, and hazardous material management.
- Manage nationwide logistics workflows, road tanker transport bridging, and inventory tracking.
- Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols, including mandatory PPE and spark-prevention measures.
- Monitor monthly project expenditures using financial tracking software like Zoho Books and produce insightful quarterly reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (MSc or PMP certification is highly preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in project coordination, with at least 2 years specifically within the Oil and Gas or LPG sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in regulatory liaison with bodies such as NMDPRA, NCDMB, and FMEnv.
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera P6) and financial software (Zoho Books).
- Strong knowledge of document control, HSE management systems, and hazardous material handling protocols.
