About the Role

The Centre for Social Cohesion, Peace and Empowerment (CENSCOPE) is a dedicated non-profit organization founded in 2014 to support victims of armed conflict and natural disasters in Nigeria. We are committed to promoting self-sustainability, equality, and social justice. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Coordinator to serve as the operational anchor beneath the Project Manager, leading day-to-day implementation, field operations, and reporting across our seven target LGAs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of the project workplan and coordinate activities efficiently across the seven target LGAs.
  • Manage field operations, scheduling, and logistics in collaboration with Project Officers and dedicated field teams.
  • Consolidate activity monitoring and donor-reporting inputs to prepare comprehensive progress reports.
  • Liaise effectively with government, community, and coalition stakeholders alongside the Project Manager and Advocacy Officer.
  • Track deliverables against the project logframe and support budget-aligned activity planning.
  • Uphold rigorous safeguarding, data-protection, and donor-compliance standards across all organizational activities.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in development studies, education, project management, social sciences, or a related field; a Master's degree is an added advantage.
  • At least 4 years of professional experience coordinating donor-funded projects, ideally within conflict-affected Northeast Nigeria.
  • Proven expertise in activity coordination, field management, and professional report-writing.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with complete fluency in English; proficiency in Hausa and/or Kanuri is strongly preferred.
  • Desirable attributes include experience in girls' education, gender programming, policy advocacy, logframes, and MEAL processes.
