About the Role
Iconic Open University, a fully licensed private open and distance learning institution by the National Universities Commission (NUC), invites applications from suitably qualified academics to serve as Project Co-Supervisors in Public Administration. Key Responsibilities- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects in Public Administration within an ODL framework.
- Evaluate student research methodologies, data analysis, and final dissertations against NUC and institutional standards.
- Provide constructive feedback and academic mentorship to students throughout their research lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with academic integrity policies and rigorous scholarly output.
- Participate in virtual progress reviews and academic board sessions as required.
- Must hold a minimum of a Ph.D. in Public Administration or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Must currently hold an academic rank of Senior Lecturer, Reader, or Professor.
- Demonstrated track record of successful postgraduate supervision and relevant research publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Free from any conflict of interest, including recent employment or close institutional ties with Iconic Open University.
- Prior experience in an Open and Distance Learning (ODL) environment is a strong advantage.
