About the Role
Iconic Open University, a leading NUC-licensed private open and distance learning institution in Nigeria, invites qualified academics to apply for the position of Project Co-Supervisor in Nursing Science. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our high standards of academic quality, integrity, and excellence by guiding undergraduate and postgraduate research students.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate Nursing Science research projects.
- Provide rigorous academic guidance and constructive feedback on student research methodologies.
- Assess and evaluate dissertations and project reports in line with university academic standards.
- Collaborate with internal faculty to ensure research alignment with institutional goals.
- Participate in virtual academic reviews and due diligence interactions as required.
- Must hold a minimum of a Ph.D. in Nursing Science or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Must currently hold the academic rank of Senior Lecturer, Reader, or Professor.
- Demonstrated track record of postgraduate research supervision.
- Strong publication record in reputable, peer-reviewed journals within the last three years.
- Prior experience in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) environments is a strong advantage.
- Must have no conflict of interest, including no employment with Iconic Open University within the past three years.
