About the Role
Iconic Open University, a leading NUC-licensed open and distance learning institution in Nigeria, is seeking suitably qualified senior academics to serve as Project Co-Supervisors for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in International Relations and Diplomacy. In this pivotal role, you will uphold our unwavering commitment to academic excellence, rigorous research standards, and integrity within a dynamic e-learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects in International Relations and Diplomacy.
- Maintain rigorous academic quality and integrity in line with institutional and NUC guidelines.
- Evaluate student research methodologies, data analysis, and thesis presentation.
- Collaborate with internal faculty to ensure timely feedback and assessment for scholars.
- Must hold a minimum of a Ph.D. in International Relations, Diplomacy, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Must currently hold the academic rank of Senior Lecturer, Reader, or Professor.
- Demonstrated track record of postgraduate supervision and strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
- Prior experience within an Open and Distance Learning (ODL) environment is highly advantageous.
- Must have no conflicts of interest, such as recent employment or close personal ties with the university.
