Iconic Open University, a fully licensed NUC private open and distance learning institution in Nigeria, invites suitably qualified senior academics to apply for the position of Project Co-Supervisor in Educational Management. In this vital role, you will uphold our commitment to academic excellence by mentoring students, maintaining rigorous standards, and contributing to the success of our undergraduate and postgraduate research programmes within a dynamic ODL environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects in Educational Management and related disciplines.
- Ensure academic integrity and adherence to institutional quality assurance standards during the research process.
- Provide constructive feedback, mentorship, and guidance to students throughout their project lifecycles.
- Participate in virtual evaluation processes, progress reviews, and collaborative academic assessments.
- Submit timely supervision reports and fulfill all assigned contractual duties as outlined by the University Senate.
- Must not be below the academic rank of Senior Lecturer, with Readers and Professors strongly preferred.
- Possession of a Ph.D. in Educational Management or a closely related field from an accredited university.
- Demonstrated track record of postgraduate research supervision and publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Must have no conflicts of interest, including recent employment or close personal relationships with university staff.
- Prior experience within an Open and Distance Learning (ODL) environment is a strong advantage.
