Iconic Open University, a leading NUC-licensed private open and distance learning institution in Nigeria, invites qualified academics to apply for the position of Project Co-Supervisor for our Criminology and Security Studies programmes. We are dedicated to maintaining academic excellence and invite distinguished scholars to contribute to our undergraduate and postgraduate research supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Co-supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects in Criminology and Security Studies.
- Ensure adherence to academic quality, integrity, and institutional standards.
- Provide expert guidance on research methodology and thesis writing.
- Participate in virtual evaluation processes and Senate-approved academic reviews.
- Must not be below the academic rank of Senior Lecturer (Readers and Professors are preferred).
- Possession of a Ph.D. in Criminology, Security Studies, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated track record of postgraduate supervision and peer-reviewed research publications within the last three years.
- Prior experience in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) environments is an added advantage.
- Must have no conflict of interest with Iconic Open University.
