About the Role
erpSOFTapp is a premier team of business and IT professionals specializing in large-scale enterprise system implementations for global companies. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Accountant to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in improving accounting departments for our diverse clients, working collaboratively within a project team to successfully deliver robust Odoo ERP solutions that meet precise client specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Reconcile various company accounts accurately within enterprise software implementation projects.
- Review, structure, and implement general ledgers covering assets, liabilities, income, expenses, and equity to deliver actionable insights to management.
- Monitor, manage, and thoroughly review creditors and debtors ledgers to optimize working capital.
- Verify the full chart of accounts and accurately record trading activities to establish true trading positions through Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, and aged reports.
- Maintain high standards for the quality, adequacy, and accuracy of all financial documentation and management reports delivered within strict project deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 4 years of proven professional accounting experience, preferably within a consulting or tech-enabled environment.
- Mandatory ICAN certification.
- Solid working knowledge and practical application of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Advanced proficiency in using spreadsheets and financial management tools.
