About the Role
erpSOFTapp is a dynamic team of experienced Business and IT professionals specializing in large-scale enterprise system implementations for global companies. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Accountant to join our expanding team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in improving the accounting departments of our diverse clients, working collaboratively within a dedicated project team to successfully deliver robust financial software systems that meet specific client requirements and enhance their competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities- Reconciling various company accounts efficiently within the scope of an enterprise software implementation project.
- Reviewing and implementing comprehensive ledgers covering assets, liabilities, income, expenses, and equity to deliver actionable insights to management.
- Monitoring and critically reviewing creditors and debtors ledgers to ensure optimal cash flow management.
- Accurately recording trading activities and translating them onto the system to generate reliable Trial Balances, Balance Sheets, Profit and Loss statements, and General Ledgers.
- Verifying the full chart of accounts and producing timely, accurate management reports under tight project deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant business discipline.
- 3 to 4 years of professional accounting experience, preferably involving system implementations or financial audits.
- Mandatory ICAN certification.
- Solid working knowledge and practical application of IFRS standards.
- Advanced proficiency in using spreadsheets and financial software.
- Exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently, work well under pressure, and consistently meet strict deadlines.
