About the Role
Ace Strategy & Consults (ACE Group) is a forward-thinking organization dedicated to disrupting conventional thinking and tackling the root causes of health and social inequities. We partner with governments, organizations, and communities to design sustainable strategies and build resilient systems that scale. We are currently looking for a motivated Programs Analyst to join our team in Kano and contribute to high-impact public health programs, research activities, and stakeholder engagements.
Key Responsibilities- Support the execution of public health programs from planning through implementation, monitoring, and reporting.
- Conduct literature reviews, desk research, and evidence synthesis to inform program design and technical outputs.
- Assist in preparing technical deliverables, including proposals, reports, presentations, and knowledge products.
- Maintain work plans, trackers, implementation records, and performance data for effective project monitoring.
- Assist with research activities, including data collection, documentation, quality assurance, and study coordination.
- Analyze and synthesize program and research data to identify trends for evidence-based decision-making.
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements, including logistical arrangements.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with government agencies, partners, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain organized and confidential project documentation in line with organizational quality standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Medicine, Nursing, Epidemiology, Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant work, research, volunteer, or internship experience in health research or public health programs.
- Prior exposure to clinical research, implementation science, or maternal and child health is a distinct advantage.
- Familiarity with the Nigerian health system and experience working with academic, government, or non-profit institutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
