About the Role

Lagos Business School (LBS) is seeking a dynamic, highly organised, and motivated Programmes, Partnerships and Communications Manager to support the growth and development of the Nigeria Chapter into a leading network for board directors on climate and nature governance. Working closely with the Executive Director, you will translate strategic priorities into impactful programmes that expand our reach, engage senior executives, and enhance our national visibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow, engage, and retain individual and corporate members while converting prospective members into active participants.
  • Design and deliver an annual programme strategy addressing emerging climate, nature, and governance priorities, coordinating high-level conferences, webinars, and roundtables.
  • Implement the Chapter's communications strategy, promoting high-quality thought leadership content, presentations, and reports across digital and traditional channels.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with government bodies, regulators, academia, development partners, and the private sector to secure sponsorship and funding opportunities.
  • Support the Executive Director in day-to-day secretariat activities, coordinating governance meetings, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely execution of action items.
Qualifications
  • First Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Public Policy, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant professional experience in programme management, communications, stakeholder engagement, or business development.
  • Demonstrated experience working with senior executives, board members, and coordinating executive-level events.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, complemented by strong presentation and report-writing abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and a strong interest in climate and nature governance.
