About the Role

The Leadup Foundation for Sustainable Growth and Development is seeking a passionate and driven Programme Manager to join our innovative team in Abuja, Nigeria. As a youth-first, technology-enabled hybrid social enterprise and research organization, we are dedicated to improving health outcomes, quality education, and climate resilience for underserved communities. In this vital role, you will lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of high-impact developmental programmes, collaborating closely with local stakeholders, donors, and technical partners to create lasting, sustainable change across Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of community-focused programmes in health, education, and climate resilience from conceptualization to evaluation.
  • Manage project budgets, monitor financial expenditures, and ensure resources are utilized efficiently in alignment with donor requirements.
  • Establish robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track key performance indicators and measure social impact.
  • Build and maintain strong strategic partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, corporate sponsors, and community leaders.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise project officers, researchers, and field teams to ensure high standards of performance and deliverables.
  • Prepare comprehensive programmatic and financial reports for internal stakeholders and external funding partners.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Public Health, or a related field; a Master's degree is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in programme management within the non-profit, social enterprise, or international development sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing initiatives related to education, healthcare, or climate change adaptation in Nigeria.
  • Exceptional leadership, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional team management skills.
  • Strong grant writing, budgeting, and project reporting capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in digital collaboration tools.
