About the Role
Carifika Network for Sustainable Development (CNSD) Nigeria, a subsidiary of Carifika Global in Canada, is dedicated to fostering a harmonious and prosperous society globally. Our core focus areas encompass Health, Nutrition, Education, WASH, Peace-Building, Conflict Resolution, Governance, Disaster Management, and Cultural Preservation. We are currently seeking a passionate and driven Programme Management Officer (Volunteer) to join our dynamic team and help drive sustainable development projects across Nigeria, with a strong focus on community engagement in Abuja.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the planning, implementation, and coordination of community development programmes and social impact projects.
- Monitor project timelines, activities, and deliverables to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional volunteer teams to execute initiatives in health, education, peace-building, and WASH.
- Prepare comprehensive project reports, progress updates, and documentation for stakeholders.
- Engage with local community stakeholders, partners, and citizens to foster strong relationships and active participation.
- Relevant skills or academic background in Project Management, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Strong commitment to community development, social impact, and the mission of Carifika Network.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet agreed project timelines.
- Residents living in Nyanya, Karu, Orozo, and surrounding communities in Abuja are strongly encouraged to apply.
