About the Role
The Federal University of Allied Health Sciences, Enugu (FUAHSE) is a newly established federal institution dedicated to advancing healthcare education and manpower development in Nigeria. Following our transition from a monotechnic to a comprehensive university comprising six faculties and seventeen departments, we are scaling our technological capabilities. We are currently seeking a dynamic and skilled Program System Analyst to design, maintain, and optimize our institutional software systems and academic databases, ensuring seamless digital operations across the university.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze, design, and implement robust program systems and software solutions to support administrative and academic operations.
- Evaluate existing IT infrastructure and recommend strategic upgrades to enhance efficiency, data security, and system reliability.
- Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to gather system requirements and troubleshoot technical bottlenecks.
- Provide technical support and training to staff and faculty members utilizing university enterprise systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant government and institutional data protection regulations and cybersecurity standards.
- Document system configurations, workflows, and maintenance procedures for future technological scalability.
- Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, ITIL, or MCSD will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in system analysis, database management, and enterprise software deployment.
