About the Role

Future Resilience and Development Foundation (FRAD) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Program Intern to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. FRAD is a registered non-profit organization established in 2019 with the core objective of promoting social services through impactful community development projects. We strive to build the resilience of vulnerable populations, particularly women and children, by creating safe spaces free from harm and reducing illiteracy through targeted educational programs. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the non-profit sector while contributing to meaningful social change and community empowerment across Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the program team in planning, implementing, and monitoring community development and educational projects.
  • Support the organization and facilitation of workshops, training sessions, and community outreach activities focused on women and children.
  • Help draft project reports, meeting minutes, and compile relevant data to measure project impact and progress.
  • Collaborate with field teams to assess community needs and ensure effective delivery of social services.
  • Perform administrative tasks and other duties as assigned by the program coordinator to support daily operations.

Qualifications
  • A university degree or ongoing tertiary education in Social Sciences, Education, International Development, or a related field.
  • Strong passion for community development, humanitarian work, and empowering vulnerable groups.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and writing skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, multicultural environment with strong organizational skills.
