About the Role
PATH is a global leader in health innovation, dedicated to saving lives and improving health equity, especially among women and children. We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Program Assistant to join our Center for Vaccine Innovation and Access (CVIA) team in Nigeria. In this role, you will provide vital administrative, logistical, and clerical support to ensure the successful delivery of critical public health project activities, operational efficiency, and strict compliance with organizational and donor standards.
Key Responsibilities- Provide robust administrative and documentation support, including drafting correspondence, proofreading proposals, and maintaining electronic filing systems via SharePoint and Box.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, itineraries, and logistics for meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements across national and state levels.
- Assist finance and procurement teams by tracking documentation, managing expense processing, and ensuring compliance with PATH financial policies.
- Schedule meetings, draft agendas, distribute accurate minutes, and actively track follow-up action items.
- Serve as an IT and software focal point, guiding team members on Microsoft Office Suite and Smartsheet while liaising with technical support.
- Bachelor's degree with at least two years of progressively responsible administrative experience, or an associate's degree with four years of relevant experience.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English with a proven ability to draft and edit professional documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) with familiarity in Smartsheet being an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands, work independently, and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity, meticulous attention to detail, and a willingness to learn science-related immunology and vaccine terminology.
