Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Professor of Veterinary Anatomy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the department's academic and research landscape. Your core duties will include:
- Providing strong academic and administrative leadership within the Department of Veterinary Medicine.
- Teaching, mentoring, and assessing undergraduate and postgraduate students in Veterinary Anatomy.
- Supervising postgraduate research theses and dissertations at the Master's and PhD levels.
- Conducting high-impact, peer-reviewed research and securing grants to advance veterinary science.
- Collaborating with industry partners, veterinary associations, and international academic institutions.
- Participating in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and university committee assignments.
Candidates applying for this prestigious professorial role must meet the following criteria:
- Possess a PhD in Veterinary Anatomy or a closely related relevant field from a recognized university.
- A first degree in Veterinary Medicine or a related discipline with a classification not below Second-Class Upper Division, or a Second-Class Lower Division accompanied by a PhD.
- Demonstrated substantial years of teaching, academic research, and extensive publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Proven track record of academic leadership, grant acquisition, and postgraduate student supervision.
