Established in 2011 in Nasarawa State, our institution is committed to advancing academic research, teaching quality, and community development. As a Professor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the curriculum, driving impactful research initiatives, and fostering the intellectual growth of both undergraduate and postgraduate students in a rapidly growing academic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide academic leadership in the Department of Statistics and within the Faculty of Physical Sciences.
- Teach, mentor, and examine undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Supervise postgraduate research projects at both Master's and PhD levels.
- Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and contribute significantly to the academic standing of the university.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide administrative duties, committees, and community engagement initiatives.
- Must currently hold the rank of Professor or demonstrate eligibility for professorial promotion.
- A robust academic portfolio comprising at least twenty (20) publications, with sixteen (16) in print, and four (4) published in at least three (3) different and regularly published foreign indexed journals.
- Proven track record of successful supervision of academic research to completion, specifically three (3) Master's degrees and one (1) PhD degree.
- Demonstrated excellence in university teaching, research administration, and leadership.
