Key Responsibilities- Provide academic leadership in teaching, research, and community service within the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- Mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students, fostering an environment of rigorous scientific inquiry.
- Supervise research projects at both Master's and PhD levels to completion.
- Contribute significantly to curriculum development and departmental advancement in pharmaceutical microbiology and biotechnology.
- Engage in high-impact collaborative research and publish findings in reputable local and international journals.
- Must currently hold the rank of Professor or be exceptionally qualified for promotion to the rank.
- Must possess a robust academic portfolio comprising at least twenty (20) publications, with sixteen (16) in print.
- At least four (4) publications must feature in at least three (3) different and regularly published foreign indexed journals.
- Demonstrated evidence of successful supervision of at least three (3) Master's degree students and one (1) PhD degree student to completion.
- A terminal degree (PhD) in Pharmaceutical Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a closely related discipline.
