Key Responsibilities- Lead undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, curriculum development, and academic delivery in Medical Laboratory Science.
- Supervise postgraduate student research and provide visionary academic mentorship.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Engage in clinical training, scholarly activities, and community service initiatives.
- Participate actively in academic administration, departmental governance, and institutional capacity building.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences and the Paul Odili College of Medicine to advance institutional goals.
- Possess an MBBS or BDS as a first degree from a recognized institution, alongside relevant postgraduate qualifications appropriate for a professorial rank.
- Demonstrate extensive teaching, research, clinical, and scholarly experience commensurate with the rank of Professor.
- Provide robust evidence of academic publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Hold current registration with the relevant professional regulatory body and possess a valid practising licence.
- Demonstrate a proven capacity for effective teaching, academic leadership, research supervision, and institutional service.
