Key Responsibilities- Lead undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Mechanical Engineering courses with excellence and innovation.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, theses, and dissertations.
- Drive groundbreaking research, publish high-impact papers in peer-reviewed journals, and secure research grants.
- Contribute actively to curriculum development, course design, and academic program accreditation.
- Mentor junior faculty members and foster a collaborative, intellectually stimulating departmental culture.
- Participate in university governance, departmental committees, and community engagement initiatives.
- Must hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in academic teaching, research, and administrative leadership at the university level.
- A strong portfolio of peer-reviewed publications in reputable international and local journals.
- Proven track record in academic mentorship, research supervision, and securing academic grants.
- Membership in relevant professional engineering bodies (e.g., COREN, NSE) is strongly preferred.
