Key Responsibilities- Provide exemplary academic and administrative leadership within the Department and School of Social Sciences.
- Teach, mentor, and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students in International Relations and related disciplines.
- Drive high-impact research activities and secure relevant research grants.
- Publish scholarly articles in reputable local and international peer-reviewed journals.
- Facilitate strategic partnerships and collaborations between the university and both the private and public sectors.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and university-wide committees.
- Must possess a Ph.D. in International Relations or a closely related discipline.
- A minimum of 12 years of post-qualification, full-time teaching and research experience in a recognized tertiary institution.
- A proven track record of academic leadership, administrative competence, and student mentoring.
