Wellspring University, a prestigious institution founded on Christian ethics and principles in Benin City, Edo State, is seeking a distinguished academic for the position of Professor in the Department of Intelligence and Security Studies, College of Social and Management Sciences. Key Responsibilities- Provide strong academic and administrative leadership within the Department of Intelligence and Security Studies.
- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in line with global best practices.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research theses and dissertations.
- Engage in extensive, high-quality research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Contribute to curriculum development, department accreditation processes, and institutional growth.
- Mentor junior academic staff and foster a culture of academic excellence and integrity.
- Must possess a PhD in Intelligence and Security Studies or a closely related relevant discipline.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of cognate university teaching, research, and administrative experience.
- Demonstrated outstanding academic leadership and a substantial, verifiable record of publications in reputable peer-reviewed outlets.
- Significant experience in postgraduate teaching, student supervision, and curriculum design.
- Proficiency in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for modern teaching and research delivery.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills aligned with the Christian ethics of the institution.
