Key Responsibilities- Provide visionary academic and administrative leadership for the Department of English.
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses, delivering engaging and high-quality lectures.
- Mentor junior academic staff and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects.
- Publish cutting-edge research in reputable local and international peer-reviewed journals.
- Contribute to curriculum development, course evaluation, and departmental policy formulation.
- Engage in community service and represent the university at national and international academic forums.
- Must possess a good Ph.D. in English Language, Literature, or a closely related specialization from a recognized university.
- A minimum of 12 years of post-qualification, full-time teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- Demonstrated track record of academic and administrative leadership with strong mentorship capabilities.
