Key Responsibilities- Provide academic leadership in the Department of Computer Engineering by developing and updating curricula in line with global best practices and NUC standards.
- Teach, mentor, and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students, fostering an environment of critical thinking and technical innovation.
- Conduct high-impact research, publish in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and secure research grants to advance the university's academic profile.
- Engage in departmental and university-wide administrative duties, including committee participation and institutional accreditation processes.
- Establish strong industry partnerships and collaborations to enhance practical learning and internship opportunities for students.
- Possess a PhD in Computer Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in teaching, research, and academic administration at the professorial level or as a high-ranking Reader.
- A robust portfolio of publications in reputable local and international academic journals.
- Evidence of successful mentorship and supervision of postgraduate (MSc and PhD) students.
- Active membership in relevant professional engineering bodies such as COREN and NSE is highly desirable.
