About the Role
Vision University is a newly established, private, faith-based university located in Ikogbo Town, Ogun State, Nigeria. Having received our provisional operating licence from the National Universities Commission (NUC) in 2023, and mentored by Lagos State University (LASU) under a mandatory five-year supervision framework, we are committed to upholding the highest academic standards. We are currently seeking a dynamic and accomplished Professor of Business Administration to provide visionary academic and administrative leadership, drive impactful research, and mentor the next generation of business leaders in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strong academic and administrative leadership for the Department of Business Administration.
- Teach, mentor, and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students in Business Administration.
- Design, review, and update curriculum to meet NUC standards and global industry demands.
- Publish cutting-edge research in reputable local and international peer-reviewed journals.
- Secure research grants and foster strategic partnerships with industry stakeholders.
- Participate in university governance, committee meetings, and community development initiatives.
- Possession of a good Ph.D. in Business Administration or a closely related discipline from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 12 years of post-qualification, full-time teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- A proven track record of academic leadership, administration, and student mentorship.
- Robust portfolio of relevant publications in high-impact local and international journals.
- Demonstrated ability to attract research funding and build industry linkages.
