Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive Economics lessons to secondary school students in alignment with the approved curriculum.
  • Prepare detailed lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments to track student progress and academic growth.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and active participation.
  • Evaluate and grade student assignments, quizzes, and examinations, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school-wide extracurricular activities.
  • Mentor students and provide guidance on academic and career pathways related to economics and business studies.
Qualifications
  • Possession of an NCE, HND, B.Ed, B.Sc., or B.A in Economics or a closely related academic field.
  • Proven experience teaching Economics at the secondary school level is a strong advantage.
  • Must reside within Baruwa, Ipaja, Ayobo, Egbeda, and its immediate environs for easy accessibility.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
  • A demonstrated passion for teaching and student development.
