Key Responsibilities- Provide exemplary academic leadership in the Department of Architecture by designing and delivering engaging undergraduate and postgraduate curricula.
- Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and publish in reputable national and international architectural journals.
- Mentor junior faculty members, graduate assistants, and students to foster academic and professional growth.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student dissertations, design studios, and research projects.
- Participate actively in departmental, college, and university-wide committees, curriculum reviews, and administrative duties.
- Establish meaningful collaborations with industry stakeholders, professional bodies like the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA), and international partner institutions.
- Must hold a PhD in Architecture or a closely related relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Demonstrated academic progression with substantial years of teaching, research, and administrative experience at a tertiary institution, ideally at the professorial level.
- A strong portfolio of peer-reviewed publications in reputable scholarly journals.
- Registration or eligibility for registration with relevant professional regulatory bodies such as the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) and the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA).
