Key Responsibilities- Provide exemplary academic leadership in the Department of Accounting through innovative teaching and curriculum development.
- Initiate, direct, and spearhead high-impact research efforts and secure competitive academic grants.
- Supervise postgraduate students at the Master's and Ph.D. levels, ensuring rigorous academic standards.
- Mentor junior academic staff to foster professional growth and continuous research productivity.
- Contribute significantly to departmental, faculty, and university-wide administrative duties and committees.
- Forge strategic linkages with industry stakeholders, professional bodies, and government agencies to enhance the university's profile.
- Must possess a Ph.D. in Accounting or a closely related financial discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Must have served as a Reader for a minimum of two years, or possess at least 10 years of extensive teaching and research experience in a recognized university.
- Must have a robust portfolio of at least 25 scholarly publications in high-impact local and international journals.
- Demonstrated expertise in grantsmanship and attracting research funding.
- Proven track record of successful postgraduate supervision and administrative leadership in higher education.
