About the Role

We are currently looking for a dependable and experienced Professional Driver to join our team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in our daily operations by providing safe and reliable transportation for personnel, equipment, and goods, ensuring that our projects run smoothly and efficiently from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities- Safely operate and maintain company vehicles in strict compliance with Nigerian traffic laws and regulations.
- Transport goods, design materials, equipment, and personnel to and from specified project sites in a timely manner.
- Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, performing basic maintenance and reporting mechanical issues promptly.
- Plan and navigate the most efficient routes across local roads, staying updated on traffic conditions to avoid delays.
- Handle the safe loading, unloading, and secure storage of goods and equipment to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, vehicle maintenance, and travel schedules.
- Ensure all vehicle documents, including licenses, insurance, and registration, remain valid and up to date.
- Uphold a high standard of professionalism, courtesy, and customer service when interacting with clients and colleagues.
- Adhere strictly to company safety protocols, emergency procedures, and code of conduct at all times.
- Minimum of an SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification.
- Possession of a valid and current Nigerian driver's license with a clean driving record.
- 5 to 7 years of professional driving experience, preferably within a corporate or structured business environment.
- Sound knowledge of local routes, traffic regulations, and road safety protocols.
- Excellent communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.
