We are currently recruiting a skilled and driven Production Technologist to join our dynamic team and deliver exceptional bottom-line value to our clients in the energy sector.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for maximizing hydrocarbon recovery and optimizing production flow from the sandface to the surface facility. You will play a crucial part in maintaining well performance, ensuring reservoir integrity, and implementing advanced production optimization strategies to support our clients' operational goals.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive nodal analysis and inflow/outflow performance modeling to diagnose well performance issues and recommend remedial actions.
- Design, select, and implement appropriate artificial lift systems to enhance and sustain production rates.
- Develop and execute robust well surveillance programs to monitor well health and identify optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with reservoir, drilling, and facilities engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of field development plans.
- Analyze production data regularly to identify bottlenecks and implement cost-effective engineering solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- A minimum of 7 years of proven professional experience in production technology or reservoir management within the oil and gas industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in industry-standard simulation and modeling software such as PROSPER and GAP.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with a proven track record of optimizing well performance.
