About the Role
Shalina Healthcare is a market leader dedicated to making quality healthcare products affordable and available across Africa. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Production Supervisor to join our state-of-the-art manufacturing operations in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will oversee day-to-day production activities, ensuring that all healthcare products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily production activities in assigned manufacturing areas to meet approved production schedules.
- Monitor critical manufacturing processes including dispensing, granulation, blending, compression, encapsulation, coating, and packaging.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and accurate documentation in Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs).
- Coordinate closely with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Warehouse, and Engineering teams to resolve bottlenecks and equipment issues promptly.
- Promote a culture of safety, operational excellence, and high hygiene standards across the factory floor.
- B.Sc., B.Pharm, or HND in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 to 10 years of proven hands-on experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of GMP, GDP, SOPs, and modern pharmaceutical production equipment.
