About the Role
Hope Payment Service Bank Limited (Hope PSBank) is Nigeria’s premier digital-first bank, dedicated to delivering inclusive financial services through innovative technology. We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Group Head, Payment Services to spearhead our merchant acquisition, e-commerce growth, and government payment solutions. In this executive role, you will define and execute comprehensive payment strategies to increase transaction volumes, expand our biller partnerships, and drive overall profitability across all digital channels.
Key Responsibilities- Drive merchant acquisition, manage the biller onboarding process, and establish strategic partnerships to expand the bank’s merchant network.
- Oversee the deployment and maintenance of POS terminals, generating monthly performance and income reports for management.
- Develop and execute comprehensive e-commerce strategies to acquire merchants, enhance user experience, and optimize digital sales platforms.
- Analyze e-commerce performance metrics, website traffic, and marketplace effectiveness to inform continuous improvements and promotional campaigns.
- Formulate and implement targeted strategies to onboard government agencies and parastatals for revenue collections, disbursements, and account growth.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with digital payment services and online financial transactions.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; a Master’s degree and professional banking or fintech qualifications are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 15 years of post-graduation experience spanning Banking, Mobile Money, Payment Aggregators, Telcos, FMCG, or Financial Services sectors.
