About the Role
Viju Industries Nigeria Limited, a renowned leader in the Nigerian beverage manufacturing sector, is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Production Manager to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end manufacturing processes for our bottled water and carbonated soft drink (CSD) lines, ensuring maximum efficiency, safety compliance, and adherence to top-tier industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the entire bottled water and CSD production lines independently from input to final packaging.
- Organize daily production schedules in alignment with established company targets and quality benchmarks.
- Monitor manufacturing workflows to identify bottlenecks, reduce waste, and optimize resource allocation.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations across the factory floor.
- Supervise, train, and mentor production staff to foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Conduct regular routine checks on machinery and coordinate with the maintenance team to minimize downtime.
- Maintain comprehensive production reports detailing output, efficiency rates, and material usage.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in beverage manufacturing, specifically with bottled water and CSD processes.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing workflows, quality assurance protocols, and factory safety standards.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams on the production floor.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
