About the Role

Sagar Vitaceuticals Nigeria Limited is a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in Ikeja, Lagos, renowned for producing trusted healthcare brands such as Vitaclox, Vitacillin, and Inbu. We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Production Documentation Officer to join our dynamic team and ensure the highest standards of documentation, traceability, and regulatory compliance across our production lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, issue, review, and control Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs) and Batch Packaging Records (BPRs) in alignment with approved standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure all manufacturing and packaging activities are documented contemporaneously and accurately in strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Verify production data including raw material quantities, processing parameters, equipment identification, yield calculations, and material reconciliation.
  • Identify documentation errors, assist in investigating production deviations, and support Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
  • Maintain controlled copies of SOPs, logbooks, and production forms while archiving completed records securely for traceability and future audits.
  • Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), Production, and Warehouse departments to facilitate timely batch review and release.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in a documentation, quality, or production role within a pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of GMP, GDP, and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel) and robust organizational abilities.
