About the Role
LocalBuka is transforming food discovery in Africa and the world by connecting users to affordable and authentic local dining options while supporting small food businesses. We are currently looking for a passionate and creative Product Marketer Intern to join our innovative team in Nigeria. In this role, you will help bridge the gap between everyday consumers and local food vendors, amplifying our mission to enhance access to quality culinary experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for new product features and updates.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends in the African food tech sector.
- Collaborate with the product and design teams to craft clear, engaging messaging and user-facing copy.
- Monitor user feedback and engagement metrics to optimize marketing campaigns and improve overall product positioning.
- Support the creation of marketing collateral, including blog posts, social media content, and email newsletters.
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A strong passion for the African tech, food, and startup ecosystem.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing principles, social media management, and product positioning.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote team environment.
