About the Role

AB Microfinance Bank Nigeria is a leading foreign-owned financial institution based in Lagos State, dedicated to providing a comprehensive range of financial services to micro, small, and medium-scale businesses. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Product Manager, Digital Transformation to own the end-to-end management of approved digital products within our Innovation Department. In this critical role, you will ensure our digital solutions solve genuine customer and business problems, achieve seamless delivery, and drive measurable market adoption and business success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the product vision, strategic objectives, and comprehensive roadmap for assigned digital products.
  • Convert approved business opportunities into clear product concepts, strategic roadmaps, and prioritized backlogs.
  • Manage product backlogs, priorities, detailed user stories, and robust release plans.
  • Collaborate closely with business analysts, internal business units, IT teams, and external vendors to translate requirements into deliverable product increments.
  • Coordinate end-to-end product delivery across discovery, design, development, testing, launch, and continuous post-launch improvement.
  • Define and track critical product KPIs, adoption targets, and customer-centric business outcomes.
  • Monitor customer feedback, ongoing product performance, and emerging fintech market developments.
Qualifications
  • 3 to 5+ years of relevant professional experience with proven success in digital product management and delivery.
  • Strong background in banking, fintech, microfinance, payments, or digital financial services is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated expertise in product discovery, roadmap creation, backlog management, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of customer journey mapping, user experience, and strong business and financial acumen.
  • Working knowledge of APIs, digital banking channels, and complex system integrations.
  • Ability to leverage data analytics and customer feedback to drive informed product decisions.
  • Professional product management or Agile/Scrum certifications will be considered a distinct advantage.
