About the Role
Moniepoint is a financial technology company digitising Africa's real economy by building a financial ecosystem for businesses. We are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist to lead strategic sourcing, market real estate acquisition, commercial lease negotiation, and contract management for our nationwide physical expansion. This pivotal role ensures the timely, cost-effective, and quality-driven rollout of regional offices and branch experience centers across major Nigerian cities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead active market searches, commercial evaluations, and high-stakes lease negotiations for prospective real estate assets across target states.
- Develop and execute a centralized procurement strategy tailored for nationwide, multi-site branch rollouts and building retrofits.
- Build and manage a robust vendor matrix for construction professionals, civil works sub-contractors, and specialist installers.
- Source institutional-grade security assets, including vault doors, CSA security doors, and CBN-approved Mantrap doors.
- Partner with legal and risk compliance teams to draft robust SLAs, Invitations to Tender (ITTs), and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Coordinate the logistical movement of corporate furniture, fixtures, and equipment to branch locations across Nigeria.
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Estate Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 4 to 7 years of progressive procurement and strategic sourcing experience handling capital projects and corporate real estate.
- Professional certification from recognized bodies such as CIPS, CIPSMN, or NIESV is an advantage.
- Deep understanding of the Nigerian commercial property market, leasing laws, and BOQ cost analysis.
