About the Role

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Procurement / Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering our high-end residential projects by ensuring optimal cost management, efficient procurement processes, and strict adherence to budgetary guidelines without compromising our hallmark elegance and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, review, and manage comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQs), material schedules, and cost estimates.
- Source top-tier construction materials, equipment, and specialized services at competitive prices while maintaining strict quality standards.
- Obtain, evaluate, and negotiate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best value.
- Conduct thorough price comparisons, supplier evaluations, and detailed cost analyses.
- Assist in preparing project budgets and actively monitor expenditures to prevent cost overruns.
- Support measurement, valuation, interim payment applications, contract variations, and final accounts.
- Monitor material usage on site and identify viable opportunities for cost savings and value engineering.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of vetted suppliers, contractors, current market prices, and industry trends.
- Coordinate seamlessly with project managers, site engineers, architects, and the accounts department to ensure timely procurement.
- Ensure all purchased materials fully comply with approved architectural specifications and project requirements.
- B.Sc. or HND in Quantity Surveying, Procurement, Construction Management, or a closely related discipline.
- 5 to 10 years of proven relevant experience in real estate development, high-end construction, procurement, or quantity surveying.
- Strong, demonstrable understanding of construction materials, pricing structures, BOQs, measurement standards, and project costing.
- Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and supplier-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant industry-standard QS or procurement software.
- Active membership in the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS) or another relevant professional body is a distinct advantage.
