We currently seek a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this vital role, you will ensure our restaurants maintain the highest standards of food safety and quality by sourcing premium ingredients at competitive prices, managing vendor relationships, and streamlining our purchasing workflows.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with new and existing suppliers and vendors.
- Source, purchase, and negotiate contracts to obtain quality products at the best possible prices without compromising standards.
- Liaise with vendors to compare proposals, review specifications, and monitor the overall quality of goods and services provided.
- Ensure all ordered products are physically received, accurately accounted for, and properly processed in internal inventory systems.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to research products, follow best practices, and optimize the cost of raw materials.
- Minimum of an OND or HND in Business Administration, Purchasing and Supply, Accounting, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of proven professional experience as a Procurement Officer within the food and beverage, culinary, or hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and working knowledge of ERP software.
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills with a strong analytical mindset.
- Excellent numerical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and exceptional time management skills.
