About the Role

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing and purchasing of high-quality pharmaceutical products and medical supplies. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining efficient supply chain operations, ensuring that our partners have continuous access to the essential medical materials they need to deliver exceptional patient care across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Source and procure pharmaceutical products, medical equipment, and supplies exclusively from verified and approved vendors.
- Negotiate competitive pricing, favorable payment terms, and reliable delivery schedules with external suppliers.
- Monitor inventory levels continuously and coordinate timely stock replenishment to prevent shortages.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date procurement records, invoices, and documentation for auditing purposes.
- Ensure strict compliance with company procurement policies and relevant national pharmaceutical regulations.
- Collaborate closely with internal healthcare teams and suppliers to streamline supply chain logistics.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Pharmacy, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, CIPSMN) is a strong advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management within the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in strong negotiation, vendor management, and relationship building.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern inventory or procurement management systems.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to resume within 2-3 weeks.
