About the Role
Welcome to Carew Couture, a premier Nigerian fashion brand dedicated to creating exquisite, high-end clothing since 2013. We are currently seeking a skilled, responsible, and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our dynamic production team in Lagos. In this role, you will play a vital part in bringing our creative fashion concepts to life by ensuring our studios are consistently supplied with top-tier materials that align with our commitment to quality and elegance.
Key Responsibilities- Source and purchase high-quality fabrics, exclusive laces, beads, crystals, trims, and other essential garment production accessories.
- Negotiate favorable pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with local and international vendors and suppliers.
- Inspect incoming materials to ensure they meet Carew Couture quality standards and match design specifications.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of all purchased materials and monitor stock levels to prevent production delays.
- Coordinate closely with the production and design teams to anticipate material needs and timelines.
- Research new fashion supply trends and alternative vendors to optimize procurement costs.
- HND or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Purchasing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of proven experience as a Procurement Officer, preferably within the fashion, textile, or retail industry in Nigeria.
- Exceptional negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced creative environment and meet tight production deadlines.
