About the Role
Westbridge Energy and Lubricants is a leading indigenous oil service company specializing in the development and blending of high-quality lubricants for automotive, construction, industrial, and marine applications. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Procurement Manager to join our growing team in Lagos, Nigeria. In this vital role, you will be responsible for strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and maintaining robust supplier relationships to support our state-of-the-art manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and vendors based on quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.
- Prepare, review, and process purchase orders and comprehensive supply contracts.
- Negotiate favorable pricing, payment terms, and delivery conditions with local and international vendors.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with production teams to forecast material requirements accurately.
- Ensure timely delivery of raw materials and operational services to prevent production downtime.
- Maintain precise procurement records, documentation, and audit trails.
- Evaluate vendor performance regularly and manage strategic supplier relationships.
- Ensure full compliance with company procurement policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct continuous market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative sourcing options.
- Resolve procurement discrepancies, invoice mismatches, and delivery issues promptly.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management will be an added advantage.
- Proven working experience in procurement and purchasing, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Demonstrated strength in contract negotiation, supplier management, and strategic sourcing.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Keen attention to detail with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Proximity to Ojota, Ketu, and surrounding residential areas in Lagos is strictly required.
