About the Role
Alert Microfinance Bank Limited is expanding its footprint and seeking a dynamic, results-driven Branch Manager for our Port Harcourt branch in Rivers State. In this full-time, on-site role, you will oversee daily branch operations, supervise staff, and ensure the efficient delivery of financial services to micro-entrepreneurs.
Key Responsibilities- Drive branch growth and consistently meet or exceed performance targets for loans and deposits.
- Supervise daily branch operations and maintain exceptional customer service standards.
- Monitor loan and deposit portfolios while ensuring strict compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses and clients to expand our customer base in the Port Harcourt market.
- Provide inspiring leadership, coaching, and performance management to foster a high-performing branch team.
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (relevant professional certifications are an advantage).
- Demonstrated experience in retail or microfinance banking operations, including branch management and portfolio oversight.
- Strong leadership, people management, and team development skills.
- Solid knowledge of credit processes, risk assessment, and financial compliance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Familiarity with the Port Harcourt micro-entrepreneur ecosystem is highly beneficial.
