About the Role
VURIN Group, a diversified portfolio of businesses across oil and gas and infrastructure sectors, is seeking a strategic Procurement Executive to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will source, evaluate, and procure high-quality materials, goods, and services that meet company and client requirements, while optimizing costs, ensuring timely delivery, and building reliable supplier partnerships. You will maintain strong budgetary discipline and drive measurable value across our supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities- Source and evaluate suppliers and vendors to meet procurement requirements and quality standards
- Develop and execute strategic procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives
- Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to achieve cost savings and service excellence
- Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure compliance with timelines
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock management across operations
- Utilize NIPEX Portal and ERP systems for procurement transactions and reporting
- Conduct market analysis and commodity forecasting specific to oil and gas sectors
- Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical procurement standards
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
- Professional certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management (required)
- 5-8 years' proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management within oil and gas industry
- Proficiency with NIPEX Portal and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Advanced expertise in oil and gas markets, commodities, and industry standards
- Demonstrated negotiation, cost management, and commercial acumen
- Strong data analytics and MS Office proficiency
- MBA or MSc qualification is advantageous
