About the Role
International Breweries Plc, a renowned leader in the beverage manufacturing sector in Nigeria, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Process Artisan to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating the process area in accordance with strict work instructions, executing non-destructive quality checks, and carrying out essential routine maintenance to support our asset care initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Operate the process area according to standard work instructions and adhere strictly to usage standards.
- Perform required non-destructive quality checks and record results accurately on information systems.
- Conduct in-depth cleaning, lubrication, and inspection of machinery following maintenance schedules.
- Apply structured problem-solving techniques such as 5 Whys, fishbone diagrams, and short stop analysis to eliminate root causes of machine downtime.
- Practice 5S principles, maintain high housekeeping standards, and identify and correct unsafe work practices promptly.
- Participate actively in shift meetings, utilize gap lists for continuous improvement, and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Minimum of N3 Engineering Studies qualification.
- Must be Trade Tested in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on working experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems on manufacturing machines.
