About the Role
WTS Energy is a leading talent and manpower supplier to the global oil, gas, and energy sector, committed to connecting top-tier professionals with transformative industry projects. We are currently recruiting a Principal Offshore Structural Engineer to support the high-profile HA & HB-Buko projects in Nigeria, aimed at delivering vital gas and oil supplies to NLNG Train-7.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure all engineering design, procurement, fabrication, construction, and installation activities strictly comply with project objectives, HSSE frameworks, and international standards.
- Define civil and structural scopes of work, specifications, and requirements for ITT packages using best-practice systems engineering.
- Perform advanced technical studies, structural analyses, and designs utilizing SACS and other specialized software.
- Manage contractor delivery and provide technical assurance for FEED and detailed design deliverables within cost and schedule parameters.
- Define geotechnical investigation scopes, execute foundation design, and supervise site construction quality.
- Provide crucial discipline input at safety and value assurance workshops, including HAZID, HAZOP, and peer reviews.
- Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering.
- Active NSE and COREN membership.
- Minimum of 14 years of dedicated civil and structural engineering experience within the oil and gas sector.
- Demonstrated proficiency in SACS software for offshore structural design.
- Extensive knowledge of international engineering standards, codes, and HSSE frameworks.
