Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage engineering projects, maintenance operations, and infrastructural development across the university campus.
- Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies in all institutional projects.
- Collaborate with university management and academic departments to plan and execute facility upgrades and technical expansions.
- Supervise junior engineering staff, technicians, and external contractors to guarantee timely and quality project delivery.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all engineering assets, equipment maintenance schedules, and infrastructural audits.
- Possession of a degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of a Second Class Lower division.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of post-qualification cognate experience, preferably within a tertiary institution or large-scale organization.
- Active membership in relevant professional bodies such as the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and current registration with COREN.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Competitive remuneration package structured similarly to Federal Universities in Nigeria under salary scale KDUNTSS 11.
